Executive Director
Arts Together seeks a collaborative, emotionally intelligent, and community-centered leader to serve as its next Executive Director. The next leader will help steward a beloved organization known for its creativity and relational approach to arts education while strengthening long-term sustainability and organizational capacity.
This is a full-time Raleigh-based leadership position requiring regular on-site presence and active engagement with staff, students, families, community partners, and programming.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Alignment with Arts Together’s mission, values, and educational philosophy
Demonstrated leadership experience within nonprofit, arts, education, youth-serving, or community-based organizations
Strong fundraising, partnership development, and community engagement experience
Financial and operational management experience, including systems and organizational infrastructure
Commitment to inclusive, community-centered leadership
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and lived experience
Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Lead Preschool Teacher
When: August 24, 2026 - May 28, 2027
Hours: 8:30am - 1:00pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr - $19/hr
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment For over 40 years, families have trusted Arts Together for their child’s preschool experience, offering the area’s only arts integrated curriculum designed to meet NC Foundations for Early Learning Standards and National Core Art Standards.
Duties:
Lead a group of children through morning routines, maintaining visual and auditory supervision indoors and outdoors at all times.
Create and maintain an organized, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Foster a respectful, supportive classroom community that helps children develop self-regulation, work well together, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
Experience:
2+ years of professional experience working with young children
Associate’s degree required; bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
Creative, energetic, and engaging
Compassionate, positive, and nurturing
