Meg Revelle brings to Arts Together over 30 years’ experience as an educator, entrepreneur and design professional. She has served on the faculty of NCSU’s College of Design, Meredith College and Peace College. Meg has held design positions at leading firms in New York City and the Triangle and was a founding partner of Forma, a Raleigh-based strategic marketing firm with clients throughout the U.S. and abroad. Meg has served as a trustee of several nonprofit organizations, including Co-Chair of the board of the Raleigh School. She has completed certificate programs at the Center for Creative Leadership and the Duke University Center for Nonprofit Management. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Meg holds a Master’s degree from NC State. She has a personal connection as well - her two grown children took classes at Arts Together when they were younger.
Kathryn Auman’s love for dance began with a weekly dance class at the age of four taught by Lemma Mackie. By age eight she was performing with the Rainbow Dance Company, a multi-age modern dance company. She danced with Rainbow for ten years before attending Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was the recipient of the Frances Wessels Scholarship and received a BFA in Dance. Kathryn is currently the Rainbow Dance Company Director and the Dance Director at Arts Together. As well as teaching at Arts Together, Kathryn also teaches and performs with Black Box Dance Theater all over North Carolina. In 2016 she traveled with Michelle Pearson, artistic director of Black Box Dance Theater to China to teach and create dances. Kathryn is also grateful for the opportunity to be teaching, choreographing and dancing at Arts Together, where the love for dance all started!
Renee Boyette attended East Carolina University and pursued a BFA in Art Education with a concentration in Painting. After college Renee worked at Green Hill Academy Preschool in Chapel Hill. She spent four years as a full-time nanny, caring for two boys ranging from infancy to grade school. This is her fifth year of teaching at Arts Together with this being her third year as Art Director. She believes strongly in the importance of creativity, imagination and the fun of getting messy and feels very blessed to be a part of such a unique program. When Renee is not at Arts Together, she enjoys painting murals and furniture, gardening and more recently has fallen in love with an art form handed down by her grandmother, sewing. Renee enjoys spending time with her husband Charles and their two cats and two dogs.
Brenda Howe obtained a degree in Social Work with a concentration in Family Relations and Child Development from East Carolina University. She then worked for seven years in a family and child development center in Greenville, NC, which emphasized the total family, while incorporating a preschool experience for children ages three-five. After moving to Raleigh, she became a medical social worker prior to having her daughter and son, who are both now grown. While raising her children, she was asked to become a substitute teacher for the Wake County Public School System, eventually becoming a teacher's assistant, and then the Early Arrival Coordinator. For many years, Brenda was the Site Coordinator for Arts Together's SummerQuest Program at the North Hills location. Brenda was most recently serving Arts Together as the Arts Program Director before becoming the Director of the Preschool and Summer Programs. With her passion for art and love of children, Brenda has found a perfect fit at Arts Together.
Carly Jones is a Raleigh native and attended Arts Together as a child, taking dance classes after her school day at Wiley Elementary School. She received a music scholarship to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she received degrees in Vocal Performance, Music History and a minor in arts administration. Carly has been with Arts Together for three years and her role has expanded from part-time to full-time as Arts Together's first Director of Communications & Development. Carly is a strong believer in arts education and strives to make the arts more accessible to all people. At Arts Together, she works on our fundraising efforts, social media and marketing. Carly balances a dual career as an arts administrator and professional stage actress/singer. She has done freelance arts management work with the Justice Theater Project, a local theater group that educates and initiates community discussions surrounding the theme of justice. She has also worked with the North Carolina Music Educator's Association and The African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh & Wake County. Carly performs with professional theaters and musical groups throughout the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, which gives her a unique perspective when working with arts organizations.
Jessi Tilden is a Raleigh native who began dancing at Arts Together when she was three. She now teaches the young threes, creative movement for the afternoon preschool program, instructs a dance technique class, as well as a multi-arts class and enjoys empowering children and instilling confidence in them while encouraging them to embrace their creative voice. She also assists the Summer Director in programming and planning, coordinates the Counselor in Training Program, and during the summer you can find her instructing classes as well. Jessi is an active member in the multi-generational Rainbow Dance Company and also dances for a handful of local artists. She received her BA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Outside of Arts Together Jessi lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys being outdoors.
Stephen Wall has extensive experience in arts administration, most notably at Arts Together and Raleigh Little Theater. In addition, he has served as an educational performer whose theatrical talents have been enjoyed by students of public and private school systems throughout the United States. Stephen holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and embodies Arts Together's process-oriented philosophy. He has a reputation for excellent customer service, solid bookkeeping skills, and attention to detail.
