Important Notes About tuition

Each family registering for Arts Together programming during the 2016-17 school year is required to pay a $40 Annual Registration fee. You will notice that the 2016-2017 Registration fee shows up automatically in your cart as you complete your online registration.

Please note that our online system is quick and easy to use when making payments via credit card (MasterCard, VISA or Discover) or by eCheck.  However, if you wish to pay by check, you can still register online, but you will need to select the Pay In Full option (even if you intend to pay monthly).  When asked to pay, simply select "pay nothing now" and then mail your check, made out to "Arts Together", to Arts Together, 114 Saint Mary's Street, Raleigh, NC 27606.

early bird discount

An Early Bird Discount of $30 shall be automatically added to your order at checkout if you register by June 30, 2016. Only one discount per family.

Class schedule

  • Our classes are scheduled to meet over a period of 32 weeks, running from late August through mid-May (with occasional breaks for holidays).
  • The first day of class will be Saturday, August 27.
  • No Class: Sept 3 & 5, Nov 22-26, Dec 20-Jan 2, Jan 16, Mar 7-11, Apr 10-15
  • The final day of class will be Saturday, May 13. 
  • Dance Fest 2017, featuring our dance classes, will be Saturday, May 13.

Arts Together policy in regards to cancelling classes due to snow, ice and inclement weather is that we allow ourselves the ability to cancel one class without needing to reschedule, but if we cancel more than one class, we shall make every effort to make up the missed class.

When you register, you may take care of payment all at once and in advance, or pay in two installments (with the first installment due at registration and the second installment due in early January), or you can pay monthly (with the first month's tuition due at registration with the remaining monthly payments due at the first of each month from October-May).

Occasionally, some special programs are offered in 7-week sessions.  These will be labeled as WORKSHOPS.  Tuition for workshops can be paid in total at the time of registration or in two installments.

At registration you have to sign up for the entire year.  However, our cancellation policy allows you to drop a class with 30 days written notice.  If you should find yourself needing to drop a class, or if you are interested in switching your class, contact Stephen Wall, Director of Operations, via email at

Parent Observation week (november 7-12)

Parent Observation week at Arts Together gives parents, grandparents and siblings of current students the chance to be inspired by how our children grow and learn.

Dance fest

Dance Fest is our spring celebration of the growth of our current students. Every May, dance students of all ages spend the last few weeks of class shaping a year’s worth of creative exploration into a short performance piece. Parents, friends and other Arts Together students are invited to a series of casual but impressive performances that showcase the hard work and talent of students of all ages. This year's Dance Fest will be held on Saturday, May 13.


COSTUMES FOR DANCE FEST: Certain dance classes (mostly those involving students the age of 14 or under) will have costumes purchased for our end-of-the-year sharing event on May 13: Dance Fest. We have included the cost of your child's costume in the tuition for these classes, and unlike in past years, there will be no separate costume fee due.
