Arts Together can always use help from volunteers! Below is some helpful information about our needs and how you can help. We will work with local high school students and public housing residents to help fulfill required community service hours.

Volunteer Teaching Assistants for after-school classes

If you have available hours on weekday afternoons or Saturday mornings, we like to place a teaching assistant with each class of students under the age of nine. Most classes last approximately an hour, but a few are an hour-and-a-half long. We can best use volunteers for our art and dance classes, which begin in September and end in May.

Counselors-in-Training

Arts Together’s popular Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program, designed for ages 14-16, provides teenagers a valuable volunteer opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills, while remaining part of an exciting summer camp environment. Appropriate for both Arts Together alumni and fresh new faces, the CIT Program is perfect for teens who love the arts and working with children. LEARN MORE about becoming a CIT.

poinsettias with purpose Fundraiser Volunteers

Each year, Arts Together sells poinsettias to support our Scholarship Fund. In early December, we need volunteers to help with the delivery — unloading poinsettias off the truck and organizing orders.
