When a child makes a leap of confidence in a first dance recital, explores new feelings in a bold, imaginative painting, or learns to share talent with others in a choir or a dramatic performance, we all celebrate. Arts Together has reasons to celebrate every day the thousands of creative experiences it has offered young people through senior citizens for more than 24 years. Here's some of what we've been able to accomplish over the years:

* Student participation has grown from 75, when Arts Together was founded, to classes, camps and workshops that can accommodate over 1,600.

* Arts Together now offers creative experiences to children both on and off-site to make it easier to reach students living in a wider geographic area.

* The variety of offerings has also grown. Classes in voice, yoga, and a multi-arts pre-school program add to the wide range of arts experiences that Arts Together provides.

* And, in reaching out to students from all walks of life, last year, Arts Together made arts experiences come alive for those who could not otherwise afford it by providing over 200 scholarships.

Providing scholarships is an area in which I hope you can help. The need for quality arts programming for underserved populations is great.
